Saver Form Online - 2008 Law School Students Attending Law School Orientation 8/25/08 To welcome incoming Law students to fall Law School Orientation, the Mcard Center emailed a Time-Saver form to them toward the middle of Aug. The Time-Saver form offers Law students the opportunity and convenience of having their Mcards preprinted and a TCF® Totally Free Mcard Checking account kit waiting for them when they arrive at Law School Orientation on 8/25/08. The Mcard Center must receive this form by August 20, 2008 (8/20/08)! Please do not bring the Time-Saver form with you to orientation; it will not be used. Preprinted Mcards will be distributed in the Student Lounge during the orientation on 8/25/08. Please be sure to bring government issued photo ID. Students who request a TCF checking account kit can see TCF representatives in the same room as the Mcard distribution. Saver Form Online - 2008 Evening MBA Students Attending Evening MBA Orientation 8/23/08 To welcome incoming Evening MBA students to fall Evening MBA Orientation, the Mcard Center is accepting Evening MBA Time-Saver forms submitted by U.S. mail or online. The Time-Saver form offers Evening MBA students the opportunity and convenience of having their Mcards preprinted and a TCF® Totally Free Mcard Checking account kit waiting for them when they arrive at Evening MBA Orientation on 8/23/08. The Mcard Center must receive this form by August 18, 2008 (8/18/08)! Please do not bring the Time-Saver form with you to orientation; it will not be used. Freshmen Time Saver Form Online - 2008 Incoming Freshmen Attending Summer Orientation To welcome incoming freshmen to summer orientation, the Mcard Center mailed a Time-Saver packet in mid-May describing the Mcard, the official University of Michigan ID, and its utility. The Time-Saver form offers students the opportunity and convenience of having their Mcards preprinted and a TCF® Totally Free Mcard Checking account kit waiting for them when they arrive at East Quad residence hall for summer orientation. The Mcard Center must receive this form at least 3 business days prior to your orientation! Please do not bring the Time-Saver form with you to orientation; it will not be used. Preprinted Mcards will be distributed at the beginning of orientation. Please be sure to bring government issued photo ID! Students who request a TCF checking account kit can see TCF representatives in room # 126 in East Quad Monday 12 PM - 1:30 PM and Tuesday through Friday 9 AM - 2 PM to assist students with bank paperwork and questions. However, students generally have the most free time on their last day of orientation after registering for classes. Transfer Student Time Saver Form Online - 2008 Undergrad Transfer Students Attending Orientation Between May - August To welcome incoming transfer students to orientation on 5/19-5/23/08, 6/13/08, 7/10-7/11/08, and 8/13-8/15/08, the Mcard Center has sent an e-mail with a Time-Saver form as an attachment in early May offering these transfer students the opportunity and convenience of having their Mcards preprinted and a TCF® Totally Free Mcard Checking account kit waiting for them when they arrive on campus. This form must be received in the Mcard Center at least 3 business days prior to your orientation! Please do not bring the Time-Saver form with you to orientation; it will not be used. Promptly returning an appropriate photo taped (not stapled or paper clipped) to the completed Time-Saver form to the Mcard Center will allow students to have their favorite photos on their Mcards. (You can also process this form Online - select your student affiliation.) If completing the paper Time-Saver form be sure to fill in your:
* If a submitted photo is rejected/unusable, the Mcard Center staff will attempt to notify the student. The staff member will also indicate if there is enough time to submit another photograph. Students will pick up their preprinted Mcards during their orientation. Having a preprinted Mcard will save you time from having to wait for to have a picture taken and the card to be printed. Those students who did not have their Mcards preprinted will have their photos taken on-site and will have to wait for their cards to be printed. Please do not bring the Time-Saver form with you to orientation; it will not be used.
TCF® Totally Free Mcard Checking To avoid spending literally hours at any bank on campus opening a bank account in the first few weeks of fall, the Time-Saver form provides the convenience of accomplishing this during the summer. Students can begin the process of opening a Totally Free Mcard Checking account by checking the box titled "A TCF Totally Free Student Mcard Checking Account now!" on the lower portion of the Time-Saver form and completing the student's information further below. With an Mcard checking account, you can also elect to open a free savings account with no minimum balance by checking the box titled "Free savings account..." Check the box titled "Open your account with direct deposit of financial aid or payroll" for the convenience of having your funds electronically deposited to your TCF Bank account. Students can also opt to open a checking account without having their Mcard preprinted by simply completing the bottom 1/3 of the form. The Time-Saver form must be received by the Mcard Center at least 3 business days prior to your orientation! There are many benefits to having a TCF Totally Free Checking account which include:
